My k800 doesnt turn on......please help....

when i turn on the phone 8520 the red light comes on then the phone loads halfway and stop can you help please?

THen if its not working check the Power On /Off switch ...
if if doesnt work still you have to flash the phone..

Hi, you will need to get another charger. Charger might be faulty and will need to be replaced.

If after replacing charger and still does not charge, then the charging port where you plug in the charger is damaged and needs to be replaced.

let it sit in the charger for 1hour then try to turn on your phone. it could be that the charger cannot charge the battery and turn on the phone at the same time and the battery is too weak to turn it on and needs a better charge.

you need to buy a new battery go to tmobile and they will have them their if you are still under warenty or your phone is insured it sould be free but if not it will be li 15 to 30 bucks

First try drying out your phone for a day or two with lots of dry moving air gently blowing past and around it, the phone must be unplugged and battery removed during this process, then once everything has been dried try charging the battery in another phone just like it, if it charges and see it it will power the phone, if the battery works put t back into your phone and try to turn it on. If it doesn't work in your phone but it does in another then its the phone, if the phone works with another battery its the battery but dry them both totally first, even a few tiny specs of moisture can screw up your phone when power is running through it, so be careful. Just make sure you read my second post as well.... dont want you deleting phone contacts etc by mistake.

Try removing the battery from the phone overnight. Then put the battery back the next day and try turning the phone on. If it doesn't turn on then either the battery is defective, fully discharged or the phone is damaged. I would really recommend trying the battery in another phone and trying another battery in the original K800 to isolate the problem. Good luck!

G'day, tell me, when you press the on/off button does the infra red port flash a red light? If so the is a software related fault. On my google page: http://trogg07.googlepages.com/. There's a set of instructions that have worked for K800 but apparently it works with any SE phone that uses a DCu-60 Cable. You could try it at your own risk.
