Question about ION Audio ION PICS 2 SD Photo Slide and Film Scanner

1 Answer

How delete memory (pictures) from ion pics 2 sd

Pictures are on internal memory and it now reads full. I cannot find a way to delete these internal pictures and as a result it will not scan. I looked at the manual and even using the playback mode and selecting enter twice does not provide me with icons for deleting these pictures. When hooked up to the USB I can see that all the pictures scanned are deleted so it has to be some other sort of internal memory that I cannot find to delete. I can see the pictures using playback I just can't delete them. It will not allow me to scan any pictures because it says it is full.

SOURCE: "Fail to get data" when trying to scan negatives.

Look for damage or wear on the film holder.
According to the ION quick start guide. When there is no optional SD memory card install (in lower right SD memory slot) the max. scan capacity is 14 MB.
14 MB is not a lot when scanning in 5.1 megapixel resolution.
Can you get hold of a 1GB or 2GB SD memory card to do a quick test?
These SD card is cheap. 1 or 2 GB is under $10.
Use a different USB 2.0 port on your computer.
Make sure your operating system recognize the ION Pics 2 SD when you plug in the USB cable.

Cant put pics onto my memory card for my camera help?

You can't transfer pictures from internal memory to a memory card, sorry. You need a USB cable to connect the camera to your computer then you can transfer the pictures to the computer.

Hope this helps.

I put my memory card into laptop, message says my card is full, and yet i delete my pics from camera., do i have to delete from memory card also, if so how do i do that.

Did you delete the pictures from the internal camera memory and not the SD card? An easy way to solve this problem would be to insert the card into your computer and open up "My Computer". In here you should see your memory card mounted as a usable drive. Open up the SD card, select everything in it by pressing "Control" + "A" and then hitting delete. This will clean everything off of the card. If you want to save the files from the card first, simply make a folder somewhere on your PC and drag all of the files from the SD card into that folder after pressing "Control" + "A". If you are still getting an error stating your card is full after removing them this way you may need to re-format the card or it may be malfunctioning.

Hi, got new kodak camera and 4gb memory sd inside. i only took 8 pictures so far and said internal memory full. i dont understand why? i want to keep 8 pictures and it should be plenty as using 4gb and...

4GB "SD" cards are almost always actually SDHC (high capacity) cards. SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but they are slightly different electrically. Many cameras won't work with SDHC cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

So your camera is not able to use the 4GB card, and is ignoring it and using internal memory only. That memory is tiny and won't hold many pictures, and when it is full, the camera cannot work at all. You need to delete the pics in the internal memory and get a memory card your camera can understand (2GB or less).

My internal memory is full, or so says the message, but there is nothing IN my internal memory. Help! It will not take pictures.

buy an sd micro memory card and use the external memory instead .. camera internal mems are only made to hold around ten pictures were as an 2 gig mem card will hold around 2000 pics and there very cheap about $ 25

Kodak easy share wont delete or scan to the left to view pics

In order to solve the problem you need to transfer pictures from the internal memory to the SD card and thereafter you will be able to delete the pics in the internal memory.
How do I transfer pictures from the internal memory of my KODAK Digital Camera to a memory card? Answer :
Follow these steps:
  1. On the camera, press Review and then Menu.
  2. Select Image Storage.
  3. Change to Internal Memory.
  4. In the menu listing, scroll down to Copy, and select OK.
  5. Select a single picture, or select All.
  6. When you have finished copying pictures, reset the Image Storage location to your original setting.

Internal memory is full,I have erased all

Take out memory card from camera, format internal memory to delete all pictures at once or delete them one by one.
Once memory card is inserted in camera, internal memory is no longer available to store/ delete pictures so remove memory card from camera to get access to internal memory.

I can only take 8 pictures. I put in a sd 256 chip thing, but internal memory is still full after only 8 pictures.

can you change where the pictures are being saved too?

read instructions, but im pretty sure you can change whether the pics are saved to the internal memory, or the card.

Digimax L60 will not recognize my card

Your Digimax L60 will also recognize your SD card please select the option to save pics
In camera or in memory card. This time your camera work on its internal memory.
