Motor only clicks when trying to start. it clicks when the reverse position on ignition switch is hit
Take a look at your switch..you most likely have a third position switch..meaning a off start position and back to run.after starting...but a middle position between start and run is added not to allow to run or start in reverse you must manually move the switch to the middle..or put the gears in neutral...if not that one of the safety switches is not functioning right..new so warranty should fix that..good luck.

check the kill switch and the wire it could be that a small piece of the covering came off and is grounding to the deck or frame there by killing the engine the jerkink of the mower maybe whats causing the wire to come into contact with metal..good luck

The engine has an alternator for charging the battery, you may have to check to see if it is working properly. There is most likely a couple of wires hooked up to the bottom of the carburetor. This is a solinoid valve called a back fire preventer, and is an electrical load, like the lights are an electrical load, and with no charging it will slowly drain the battery to the point that you can not start the engine.
I hope this helps get you going.

measure with a valt meter and see what your voltage is at the battery . now measure what you have for volts at the soleoid. then check to see if you are getting 12 volts to the single peg on your soleoid, usually a whitwe wire. If your not getting voltage to this wire you probably have a safety switch problem. If you are getting voltage here check to make sure you are getting voltage at the starter motor. If your getting voltage there you may have a bad ground at the starter motor or the whole motor may need to be grounded to the frame.

I have had similiar problem with the Sabre machine. On mine if the parking brake is set, and seat safety is closed and you pull down the blade engagement slightly further then the disengaged position the key will work. The only problem i continuously have even after replacing the battery is the low amperage cranking on ccold start...once warmed up starts no problem without the boost. I wonder if these machines typically have either a resistor built into the key switch which limits too much cranking power or if its something to do with the crank being sealed so tight as i also find it cranks over alot easier with the oil cap loosened up...just dont forget to tighten after starting!
You need to pull the spark plug out, connect the spark
plug wire and ground the plug to the motor and see if you have spark. If you
have spark (bright blue) then it is a fuel problem. A yellow spark is and indicator
of a coil issue.
