You should not use linseed oil or any other oil on granite countertops unless the desired look is a darker stone. The oil may not penetrate depending on the color and density. Linseed oils are generally only for soapstone.

For a darker enhanced look i would recommend a color enhancer like Tiger Ager rather than an oil. The result would be more permanant and is actually made for this purpose. You would need to apply prior to any sealing. You can purchase this at GranQuartz or other supplier

Can I use a mixture of raw linseed oil and turpentyne on Quarry tiles?

Depends on what your final purpose is.
If it's to preserve them (i.e. waterproof them) you might want to try boiled linseed oil instead. It's more persistent although it takes a bit of time to penetrate fully.

Any granite fabrication shop should be able to send a couple workers out to cut the existing granite for your new downdraft.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I'm having my kitchen counter tops replaced with granite. I have a GE Model GSD700 dishwasher that is now attached to the existing counter top. The granite counter tops will not accept having a dishwasher...

• Purchase and install the GPF65 side-mount
bracket kit if the underside of counter is granite
or a similar material that will not accept wood
screws. The GPF65 kit is available from authorized
GE appliance dealers.

Also note that any stainless steel tub models would be able to accomadate granite tops without a kit, and I beleive all Profile GE models come with the kit included.

Small chip in granite countertop

Well you should seal your granite counter at least once every two years because granite is pourus. Theres something called Granite Guard you can use to seal your counters and other different sealers as well. You can pick some up at your local home and garden supply store.
