My Vtech V.reader. freezes up after calibration window???

I just found a solution to this: Turn off the vreader, then press & hold the help "?" button. While holding the "?" button, press power. My system bypassed the calibration step and booted correctly.

The reader does not recognize that a cartridge has been inserted.

Your reader is faulty. You will need to try other catridges. uIf it continues, I advice you get a new one.

I think the boot sector is got deleted by certain viruses.If any startup recovery disc then try it.Otherwise reinstall system OS
