Starting up in Safe Mode Follow these steps to start up into Safe Mode.

1. Be sure your Mac is shut down.
2. Press the power button.
3. Immediately after you hear the startup sound, press and hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be pressed as soon as possible after startup, but not before the startup sound.
4. Release the Shift key when you see the Apple logo appear on the screen.

After the Apple logo appears, it may take longer than usual to reach the login screen. This is because your computer is performing a directory check as part of Safe Mode.
To leave Safe Mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

SAFE MODE OPTIONS
1. Press the System or Menu Button in the lower left corner and navigate to Manage apps.

2. Find the most recent app you installed.

3. Force close it.

4. Disable it if possible.

5. Remove this app.

6. Reboot the boot to see if the Safe mode is gone.

You can't take off Safe Mode, it's there for your protection. However, if you want to boot into Normal Mode, shut down the computer. Now it will boot you into Windows on Normal Mode, not Safe Mode.

You need to try booting in Safe Mode with Networking and if that fails then Last known good configuration should work. Below are the steps to perform Last known good configuration howver Safe mode with networking is also an option under "windows Advanced option". Now if you succeed logging in to Safe mode with networking then try performing system restore by going to Start....All Programs....System Tools and System restore.

Step 3: As soon as you turn it on start hitting the F8 key on your keyboard until you get to a black screen called "Windows Advanced option". Step 4: As soon as you reach "Windows Advanced option" use your down arrow keys to choose an option called "Last know good configuration".
Step 5: Select that and HIT ENTER.
Step 6: your PC will boot to the windows.

You will have to login to the Safe mode option and run a spyware scan.

Kindly download and install Malware Bytes application which is a freeware and easily available in web. Once installed follow the steps below

Step 1: Shut down your PC completely.
Step 2: Turn on the Power button.

Step 4: As soon as you reach "Windows Advanced option" use your down arrow keys to choose an option called "Safe Mode".
Step 5: Select that and HIT ENTER.

One you are in the Safe Mode Run the Malware bytes scan (Quick Scan).

try hitting the F8 button as it starts to boot you should get a screen with several options see if it will go into SAFE MODE or Last Known good Settings that worked try safe mode first,,,,,Good Luck

That's a very nice and brilliant idea to have an intact data you must have a back up data. So my recommendation please repair or it is advisable to re-install your operating system to ensure your operating system will be 100% operational. Make sure you have your installer in operating system and your laptop drivers.

shut down the computer - startit back again... and keep tapping the key F8 on the keyboard...(Continuously tap) ... it shall solve your problem...
