Hi, yes, to reach the battery the four screws need to be removed, please be very careful not to lose any of them, and don't forget to reinsert the rubber seal. All the best.

The reset is to remove the battery for 2 minutes. You may as well take it to a local jeweler and have the battery replaced and they will set the time for you.
It is a basic 4 button watch. already answered on Fixya in 2015.
Lisa, Not sure what battery watch takes, I would just remove the back off watch, remove battery and take battery with me to store and match the battery up. Check the attached link,instruction and guide, Good luck

It's best not to do it yourself without the proper tools as you can damage the watch and you probably don't have the replacement gasket you'll need to put it back together. Most any watch shop or jewelry store will change the battery and gasket for you for abut $8. Well worth it to protect your valuable investment!
Most of these resin-case F-series Casio sport watches use a fairly large lithium coin cell battery. Once the four screws holding the watch back are removed, you should be able to just pop off the stainless steel spring clip that holds the cell in place and pull it out, without having to remove any more screws. Be careful when replacing the clip, because it is asymmetrical and goes in only one way. Also be careful not to lose the tiny spring contact that connects the watch movement to the piezoelectric sound element glued to the watch back. If you lose the spring, the watch will still run, but the alarm won't sound anymore.
