How bellsouth caller id ci 43 contrast adjustments?

For the CI-43 only :

. Press and hold the dial/menu button until "Options Menu" is shown in the display.
2. Use the up/down buttons to scroll through the options below, and press the dial/menu
button to select the desired option you wish to set:
• Set Language
• Local Area Code
• Set Time/Date
• Set Flash Time
• LED Contrast
• Set Tone/Pulse
• Exit Options
3. Use the up/down buttons to adjust the setting, and press the dial/menu button to confirm
and set.
NOTE: It is important to set the Area code so that the telephone can distinguish local or long
distance calls when dialing from the Caller ID list.
NOTE: Time and Date will automatically set when you recieve the first or second Caller ID

You need a CI trunk card not a LS/DS trunk card for caller id.

call your service provider to make sure it is added, then go get a phone that has the caller I.D screen...most cordless ones have it.....hope this helps!!

It sounds like your alarm is picking up the phone. How many rings before it picks up?

You should be able to adjust LCD contrast when phone is idle, just use the up/down arrow button to adjust it (don't go off-hook). If you have background music set, the above procedure will adjust the music volume instead. You can turn Background music on and off by pressing <Feature>,2,6 when your phone is idle. Alternatively, you may press <Speaker> 6,0,2 and then use the UP/Down arrow key to adjust LCD contrast.

There are 6 AA batteries connected in series so that = 6 volts.

to adjust the contrast, you have to hit the store button, then the arrow keys, which are the two little keys next to the caller id screen. you will then scroll thru the menu. it will eventually come to the contrast. then you use the arrow keys to move it to a darker shade. and hit store again, to store it.

hi this problem points to 1 main thing: your line voltage is low how many phones are connected on the line? if there are more then 3-4 its too much! you got only 1-2 ? call the phone company and tell them u got a low tone... good luck
