Whirlpool ED22TW ice maker stopped making ice. Water is still flowing refrig and coming out of water spout on door. Already tried "unfreezing" the line in case it was frosted over.

Change the=> 67006531 Water Inlet Valve I believe the side of your 67006531 Water Inlet Valve that controls water flow to the ice maker has weakened and cannot open properly. Replace the water valves and I believe the ice maker will work fine, Sea Breeze

How to make the ice maker work

Problems with Ice Maker/Water Dispenser
If you are not getting ice, make sure the water valve is open and the ice shutoff switch or arm is not in the "Off"
position. Inspect the ice ejector arm for blockage and remove any trapped ice with a plastic spoon. If you recently
emptied the ice container, remember that it takes your refrigerator up to 24 hours to produce ice.
Low water pressure is the major cause of problems with the water/ice door dispenser. Low water pressure can cause
inadequate water flow and small or hollow ice cubes. Check the water line for kinks that may interfere with water
flow and make sure the water valve is open. A dirty water filter can color the water and ice cubes, impede water
flow or cause water to have an off taste so remove, clean and replace it.
If water is leaking from the door dispenser, make sure the water glass remains under the spout until the water
shuts off completely. If you recently changed the water filter, air that was left in the line may cause water to
spurt from the dispenser. To flush the water line, let water run from the dispenser for approximately three minutes
or until you draw out 1.5 gallons of water. Try to find a container that will fit under the dispenser spout so you
do not have to start and stop to empty the container.

Have a nice day my friend : )

Ice maker not producing ice, already check the basic problems,

The water tube to the icemaker inside the refrig maybe frozen up. Thaw out with your hair dryer. To make sure the tube is clear. Shut of the water to the refrig, disconnect the inlet water line to the icemaker. Insert a flexable through the connector fitting, I used a zip tie. The flexable item should go all the way to the icemaker

Solution #2 Replace the "water inlet valve" at bottom back right of refrig. Easy To Do.

Whirlpool GS5VHAXWY00 25 cu. ft. side by side contour door - in door water has stopped flowing. Refrig is 6 months old. Water still flows to ice maker.

when you push the button inthe front of the machine it should give power to the valve in the back of the machine .check the valve in the back of the machine where the water line connects to make sure there is no blockage in the line next thing to check is if your getting power to the valve on that side of the valve that the water is connected
