My Kodak DX4330 will just shut down shortly after turning it on. I have a docking station and rechargeable batteries, that until the past couple days worked fine. The LED on the docking station doesn't even come on when I have the cam in the doc. I've checked connections and they are all present. Any suggestions?
Unscrew some of the screws (the ones you can manage to remove), press on the little connector on the bottom, put some batteries in and try it. When I put the batteries in, it worked for me, and so I screwed it back up, and it's continued working pretty much. I think something might have gotten loose on these cameras. I thought mine was through, but it seems to work now!

Yes, assuming you're using rechargeable batteries. If you're using rechargeable AA batteries, they can be recharged using any standard AA charger. If you're using the Kodak Rechargeable Battery Pack, it can be recharged using any of several Kodak chargers.
with new batterys you may find if quicker to charge them in a battery charger and not in the camera,,,the camera charger is for "topping up" the batterys realy not fully recharging them its so you can leave the camera on its docking port and it will have fully charged batterys in it when you wont to use it,, to fully charge a new set of batterys it could take days,,,,so overnight is to short a charge to recharge them,,,leave the camera on its docking station for a fuw days at least, or use a home charger for your type of battery ie:AAA or AA, both take 16 hours to recharg fully
The remote comes with a charging dock, if you did not get this you can order one from RTI (952) 253-3136.
BATTERY AND DOCKING STATION The T2+ uses a Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery. This battery does not exhibit any type of "Memory Effect" from being charged too often. Since the T2+ can safely be charged after each use, a docking station is included for convenience. If left out of the docking station, the T2+ will remain in sleep mode for 1 or 2 months before shutting down. At that point the battery must be recharged. The T2+ Docking Station can be placed on a flat surface such as a shelf or table, or it can be mounted to a wall using the mounting holes on the back of the unit. If the T2+ battery capacity is reduced to approximately one hour of remaining run-time, a low battery icon will appear in the upper left corner of the display The docking station LED illuminates to indicate a charge in progress. The LED will turn off when the battery in the unit is fully charged.A fully discharged battery will take approximately 2-4 hours to completely re-charge.The T2+ can remain in the docking station indefinitely without damage to the battery.
What batteries can I use in my digital camera, and how long do they last?
Battery life depends on how you use your camera, the type of batteries you select, and how you handle the batteries.
Your camera is compatible with: KODAK Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery KLIC-8000 and KODAK CRV3 Lithium Batteries: A non-rechargeable battery. (so your battery might be in need of a change)
Using Your Camera
Some features, such as reviewing pictures and using the flash, require more power than others. Follow these guidelines to get the best use of your batteries:
Limit the time your camera is in Review mode.
Limit your use of the flash.
Use the LCD Dimmer or Auto Power Off features, if available on your camera.
Transfer your pictures to your computer using a compatible power adapter, camera dock, printer dock, or memory card reader.
if your are using the ordinary AA rechargeable battery it will not charge., Camera dock will charge only on a 2 Pack AA battery like KAA2HR batteries or the 2 AA battery that attached together (Ni-MH rechargeable battery pack )
have same camera haen t had that prob sound s like weak batteries go into menu an dsee what its set at and reprogram it to what you want mine never came with the docking station try withou tand new batteries i use rechargable batteries with nicad batteries holds a charge longer
If the light indicating the charging status is off, remove the batteries from the camera and make sure that you are using the Kodak Ni-MH Rechargeable Battery Pack KAA2HR. THis is the only battery that will charge on the dock. If you are using the correct battery and it still does work, better to get a rapid charger instead.
