MY yahama 2000 inverter want charge.It starts with a green light then turns red. how do I fix?

in this television .if you see the digital television .its the inverter board. try a probe pull off the small cable of inverter board .and try to turn on the tv .if the light stay green the inverter is out. thanks

interesting problem, a red light generally indicates a fault and if the unit is not expensive than just buy a replacement, do you have knowledge of electronics? if so i might be able to help you if not buy a new one and try to get extended warranty, Inverters are notorious for faulting and without knolagege of the workings of the circuits you have no chance to fix it.

the current from the 12volt supply is not sufficient try a fully charged car battery instead, your inverter needs 30 amps and above of current from 12 volt power supply

The blinking green light signals that the inverter board is charging the bulb. If the blinking goes to red it means that this process has failed because either the inverter board is not full operational or the bulb itself has failed.
Most likely you will have to replace the bulb - here it is

If this doesn't fix it then you will have to check the inverter and power boards and replace the failing one.

Try to measure the input voltage. If the Vans battery falls to less than 10.5 V it may stop converting. The battery should be charged well before using converter.

Hi, i had the same problem and emailed the manufacturer. They suggested that i try to charge it up using a regular car battery charger, simply connect the crocodile clips to the charger and trickle charge for 3 to 4 hours. this worked for me. hope you have same success.
they did say that if this did not fix the problem then i needed to replace the battery, a used motorcycle battery will do the trick.

I had a problem with my Sharp LC-15e1u where it will not turn on
by pressing the LARGE RED pb on top. The power button remains red. It also used to be green. Well I tinkered with it and
found by starting with the power OFF,
Press both Menu & TV/Video
Turn on by pressing the Big Red Button
The power lignt is red for one second then turns green.
The TV Then turns on leaving you on channel 58.
The volume control slides from 0-30-60 and back to 0.
Also there is a small "K" in the upper left corner of the screen.

I'm returning the unit for a Factory warrenty. I bought it on
clearance "AS IS".
