what i know is that monitors don't need drivers. if your monitor is new then i believe it is already windows 7 ready.
what you need to do is check the VGA cable if it is damaged. try replacing a new one. Hope this helps.

You have to remove four screws in order to separate the monitor base from the monitor.
Check the manual (section "Setting Up The Monitor", subsection "Removing The Monitor Base") for images of the location of the screws.

The resolution (most likely the 1080p HD) is too high for your monitor

. You will need to access the dvd player's menu somehow and reduce the resolution to one that is supported: ideally it should be the 480p SD one that your player surely supports. The exact procedure is in the manual.

Look for shorted out transistors and blown fuse, it is almost the same as 1740, also inspect the caps.

if after few seconds of display and then the while display turn black, this is the indication of failed capacitor on the LCD circuit board...
you will need to have some technical skill to replace the capacitor.

Im sorry but this monitor is failing. possibly heat related.

That sounds like the inverter that powers the back-light. Unless it's really annoying I would just live with it. It's probably more expensive to repair than to buy a new similar sized screen.

Normally it is no more then $45-$50 total.
It will take about 2-3 hours but normally I reccomend a 24 hour period to allow for full after repair testing to ensure everything is running as it should.
