Blinking green light on front won't stop blinking.I shut power off and tried a system reset with no help. HELP!!!

Rylee, thanks for the solution. However after pushing the system reset button the green light just keeps on blinking. The TV never comes on.It isn't wasn't on even before I hit the system reset button.I had tried to use the system reset button earlier today as well with no success. I tried repacing the lamp just in case and that didn't help either.I'm not sure where to go from here.

Your TV is dead. Mitsubishi is having numerous problems with this happening on many tv's. They are having to replace the chassey to fix, and sometimes this does not last, just had mine replaced. We will see. Look online, many complaints regarding the exact same problem.

Hi!

It means your TV needs to reset. Although you have reset it previously, now again reset the TV as per procedure given below:

Please press the SYSTEM RESET button on the front panel with a pointed item such as the point of a ball point pen or end tip of a paperclip.

The TV will turn off and the green LED will flash quickly for about one minute. After the green LED stops flashing, turn on the TV again. The changes you made while the TV was most recently on, before you used the SYSTEM RESET button, may be lost; the changes you made previously, however, are not lost. Only those changes since the last power on may be lost when the system reset button is pressed. All other settings are retained.

TV Reset Menu

Read on-screen warnings before proceeding, as some user data or settings may be erased.

1. Press TV MENU and then 1, 2, 3 to see the RESET SERVICE MENU to reset the TV.

2. Select Reset System Defaults (CAUTION: All settings, except V-Chip, will be reset to the original factory defaults.

Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

I hav a mit 65 in tv model number wd 60737 it comes on with the words welcome mit and green light blinks and then shuts off.

Does the led light flashes green continually?

Check if you can access the operational error code. The TV must be in shutdown and then press the front panel "activity" and "channel down" at the same time and hold them for 5 secs.

Led light will flash 2 digit code separated by a pause.

23 - 2 blinks pause 3 blinks

Let me know the result...

I have a Mitsubishi WD-62525 HDTV that suddenly wont turn on. Just has a green blinking light when you hit the power button. Any ideas?

I found this on another website, most likely it is your power supply capacitors.
  1. Press the "reset" button and hold for 10 seconds .... Does TV turn on and blinking green light turn to solid green.

  2. Unplug the TV from it's power source for various times, ranging between 5 minutes and 24 hours..... Does blinking green light continue upon plugging in the TV.

  3. Disconnect ALL devices from the TV; DVD, Tuner, Cable Box, unplug the TV for various duration times .... Does blinking green light continues upon plugging in the TV.

  4. Press Power and Menu buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

  5. Press Power and Display buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

  6. Insure that no front panel buttons are inadvertently stuck in an "engaged" position.

Diagnosis: If none of the above test resolve the issue, then the failure lies in one of the following:

  1. DM Module Capacitors have FAILED.
  2. DM Module is defective.
  3. EEPROM Board failure
  4. Power Supply failure.

Mitsubishi 62" dlp wd-62525

The lamp is either defective, not connected properly to the wiring or plugs (careful alignment required on the two connections), wrong type bulb, or the front panel is not replaced properly to trigger the panel sense switch (lower right side of panel)

Please help with tv! green blinking light wont stop and tv wont turn on

Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.
please post your error code
