HP7660 Printer without installation disk

You can download the installation driver and software from manufacturer's support website by clicking this link
On the page which opens, select the operating system of your computer (Windows Xp/ Vista..) from the drop-down menu and click the "Next" button. Then download the required drivers and software.
The list of available drivers will load only after selecting the operating system of the computer.
Click on the "+" sign next to the list to expand the list and view details. To read the detailed installation instruction, click on "More info" link under each driver/software.
You can also order a replacement installation disk on the page which opens.

Sir please select your operating system and download your drivers from this site
Before installing this file please make sure that you do not have anyother printer driver installed
Please uninstall all other printer drivers

Type into google HP Photosmart (or whatever your printer model is) but make sure you trpe driver at the end of you printer model

in windows "control panel" go to "add new hardware" click on it and, windows will find it on the internet and, install it for you

Ensure that the drivers are the ones for Vista. If drivers on disk are not the ones for Vista, download from here

Additionally, Vista has what is called User account conrol (UAC) interface. This will start the installation program without administrator privileges.

Locate the setup file on the disk, click right mouse button on file, and from the drop down menu chose "Run as Administrator"
