HP D1420 USB Printer starts printing then stops, and starts, and stops untill either timing out or completing the task (Lagging)

If the USB Port is 2.0, it might not work if the printer is 3.0. If the USB Port is 2.0, it might not work so fast if the printer is 3.0. It would work better if the USB Port was 3.0. And don't forget, USB cables are also rated (USB,USB2.0,USB3.0). Can't tell you how many times I've gotten a printer to work just by switching cables. Good luck.

My windows xp was reloaded and now when rehooking up my 7200 all in one, its not working. All wires are connected, original installation disk was used.

Did you install the printer software and drivers before you connected the printer to the computer by a USB cable? Uninstall any drivers that have already been installed then restart. You can get the drivers again from the web site, http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html?pageDisplay=drivers . Wait until the software asks you to connect to the printer before connecting the USB cable. If you are connecting to a router for an ethernet connection, then that can be cabled together before installing the software.

If the drivers were installed correctly, start diagnosing a problem with the cables. Try new cables, changing ports, and a known working device on the port. When you reinstalled XP, did you include the motherboard drivers specific to your machine (that will have the USB and ethernet drivers)? If you missed those steps, you may need to uninstall the printer before doing that update and then restart.

I hope this helps.

Connect A JVC GR D31 Camcorder to a Computer Via USB 2

Well I'm afraid not the cable don't not come in such of a way either cause they are different type of cable, but what u can do is buy an external fire wire card for yr PC it comes in PCI format for yr desktop PC. because camcorder in these days do not use USB cables due to the cause that fire wire cable is much faster than the USB ones.
