I have an old Phoenix AEG juicer - don't know if it's the same as yours. My basket is two-part. The flat bottom part with the grinder teeth holds in the strainer part, and has small holes at twelve o'clock and six o'clock. There is a clear plastic "wrench" which consists of a circular plate with a perpendicular ridge on top serving as a handle, and two pins on the bottom that fit in the two holes. You then unscrew the flat bottom part of the basket which releases the remaining strainer basket part. If you're missing the wrench you might be able to improvise.

The PNC number (which inside the door - bottemleft) might be the same, but otherwise just pick one... teh difference is some internal components revision.. most of the time not relevant for users

The last solution posted to me (the rather insulting one) told me to look for a lever or release mechanism. I had OBVIOUSLY already done that. After sleeping on it I decided to try messing with the grinding blade (there were to drainage hold inm which I placed the tyne of a fish fork) and trying to rotate it in the opposite direction of the basket. Lo and behold it unscrewed and came apart for cleaning. No release lever or mechanism.

Look in yellew pages for a Zanussi dealer, you will need mod number,,serial number, and er number, all of which are on the rating plate found at the front of the oven.
