Fan problems lossed the ability to reverse directions of my romano fan need help

SOURCE: 52" Romano Hampton Bay Fan

I have the same problem and I notice that the fan goes in reverse when I turn off and back on. I have not found the solution yet but I would say that the remote has factory defects.

There 'should' be a small switch just below the fan blades on the center dome that will slide up or down. It is usually square and black. Slide it in the other direction....
