ELCOT-Television in my tv. there is no response for my remote key and in tv screen it shows something like "A1116"

Programming Notes
• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.

Check the remote control for its infra-red emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check by pressing all the buttons on it; and see whether all of it generates infrared signal while pressing. You didn't specify if you are trying to program the remote to your TV or receiver. Is it a replacement remote or did it just quit working? I have provided instructions on how to program to your TV or receiver.

Address to receiver:
Remote: All Other Remotes

1. Go to System Info screen (depending on receiver - press System Info button on receiver panel or pull smart card out till System Info screen appears on TV screen).
2. Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up.
3. Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote.
4. Press the pound (#) button.
5. Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record. Note: If successful, the number selected in step 3 will appear in the System Info screen under Remote Address.

Remote: Basic Remote (Television Only)

1. Turn the Television On.
2. Press and hold the TV Power button for three seconds until the LED flashes.
3. Press and release the TV Power button.
4. Press and release the Up or Down Arrow on the remote until the television turns off.
5. After the television turns off, press and release the OK button.
6. Test functionality with the TV.
7. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.

I think that is typical of most brands of lcd tv's. Mine does the same, both on and off. You'll notice a message, "power off" on the screen when you turn it off.

Try replacing the battery in the remote. CR2025 or equivalent.
