Can't see sim in Nokia N70

IF YOUR N70 IS SHOWING OFFLINE MODE PROBABLY BECAUSE IT DOES NOT READ YOUR SIM CARD OR YOU SELECT YES AT STARTUP. REMOVE YOUR BATTERY AND BRING OUT THE SIM, REINSERT PROPERLY AND STARTUP YOUR PHONE, THERE SHOULD BE A MESSAGE ON STARTUP " DO YOU WANT TO STARTUP PHONE IN OFFLINE MODE?" PRESS NO, (LEFT UPPER KEY) PHONE SHOULD STARUP ONLINE OTHERWISE YOUR SIM CARD IS NOT BEEN READ.

remove the sim, battery, and memory card then clean your sim with eraser then try it on. if problem continues try a new sim and if not work again no other solution but to consult a technician.

someone or you might have coded that phone with a line different from the current line so you must deactivate that code by inserting the formal line.or if you dont know the code you have to flash the phone.

(1) Pl z go on profile mode and here activate a general profile OK (2) when u open a fone here a msg appear on your fone dat start" fone in offline mode" then u press a NO ok.

Go to Profile and Select GENERAL.Check with another SIM.Check you Properly inserted your Sim Card[Just Clean Sim Slot]..Still have trouble your SIM IC Damaged...Hope you got it...Dont forget to Rate me....

Offline mode means the sim you have inserted was not detected by your phone.Firstly clean the Sim Card slot(case)and check the connector.If the problem still persist contact nearest mobile repairing center.

when it turns of in offline mode, turn it off again everytime.
after few times, it should ask you before the logo shows up "DO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE IN OFFLINE MODE?"
SELECT NO, AND VIOLA. ITS IN GENERAL MODE

its a insert sim problum change sim driver

where did you bought your phone? if you bought it from a telecom's promo it means that your phone is locked to a single network provided only. you can ask a technician to have your phone OPENLINE for you to be able to use any kinds of sims.
if it's not the case, check the slot for sim and make sure that the sim is properly placed. restart it without the sim and then restart again but now with the sim.
