Question about Sony KP-46WT510 46" Rear Projection HDTV
My Vizio LED m470sl 47" tv has Verticle bars of lines that run horizontal. It also seems to be pulsing from light to dark. It's almost as if its refreashing every few seconds. When it pulses the controler input lags for a second. There is a picture on the screen and the lines only appear if there is input on the screen.

Hey, I had the same problem with blue and red lines and this post helped me bigtime ! Just adjust the color your having problems with. To solve this problem all you need is a flat and phillips screwdriver. Right below your speakers on the right and left side are tabs. Pull out the tabs and remove the screw on eachside. Once that is done remove the speaker cover and you will see a fiber board cover in the middle of the tv, there will most likley be twist ties holding some wires, to make it easier to work remove the ties. Now remove the screws on the fiber board and pull it off. You should see 3 adjustments on the top for focus, do not touch those. Below the focus adjustments on the

it's called retrace lines ,your screens are set to high or focus block assy which has the screen adjustments on it also is faulty

You may have to re-adjust the screen drive. It sounds as though it may be just a bit high. If it's not that, you may be getting a bad picture tube. I hope this has helped in some way.
