Headphone jack works, but portable headphones don't.

Headphone jack works, but cannot get anything through portable headphones on a advent 25 mobile dvd player. The headphones are movies to go brand and have power to them. The vehicle is a 2008 saturn outlook. I just bought it and the dealer purchased the headphones. It appears they are 1 channel headphones. There is no switch for channels.

SOURCE: Wireless Headphone not working with my portable DVD player

Firstly, make sure your DVD have built-in IR wireless module so that your headphone can receive the audio signal from your DVD player.

Second, it should be clear which frequency transmitted from your DVD player. Generally speaking, there are two frequency of IR transmitter. One is 2.3MHz/2.8MHz. another is 3.2MHz/3.87MHz. Only emission frequency same as receiver can receive the audio signal.

SOURCE: head phone jack only plays right side/brad new headphones

Call Philips, get replaced - this is a common problem across all mp3 manufacturers. You can look at the YouTube video on repairing mp3 player headphone jacks, but i doubt it will work without causing more problems with your mp3 player.

No speaker sound

Odds are it's a damaged wire and there won't be anything you can do to fix it. My suggestion would be to get a small set of portable speakers that use the headphone jack.

I bought a second hand Fishman LoudBox Performer. The problem is that the Aux-in for the headphone doesn't work. So sick... What can I do? tnx

I don't understand your question. The "Aux in" is just that an input that goes to the power amp. Please note that the Fishman Loudbox does NOT have a headphone jack so don't be disappointed as there plain isn't a headphone jack on this unit. I would recommend that you get a small headphone amplifier for the purpose... or even go to a thrift store and get an old stereo system that has a headphone jack and use that.

Headphone jack requires bending the headphone jack to a side to get stereo. this is the coby mp725 16 gig love the unit. got it as a gift. had to send my first unit in due to headphone jack not working....

This problem is common with a lot of MP3 players. It is caused by excessive movement of the headphone jack and causes the headphone jack has worked loose from the circuit board.
To fix this problem the MP3 player needs dismantling and the headphone jack needs resoldering onto the circuit board to get the headphone working properly.

The main speakers don't work. Headphone jacks work but if you unplug the headphones there is no sound

Make sure that you don't have mute on, and make sure your TV speakers are turn on. Go to menu and see if there is a way to turn your internal speakers on. If you can't fine anything , then your audio processor could be locked up, and if you unplug your TV for 30 MIN. it will reset the processor back to normal. Good luck and have a nice Day. If all that don't work, then your headphone might not be closing when removing the jack.

My Logitech headphones mic won´t work with windows xp. Can hear, don´t hear me.

Your headphone mic is all right. The problem is with the sound driver you are using. Many a time the headphone jack are not properly connected so it may be another issue for not working of your headphone. Your operating system is all right check out the sound driver setting from the control panel.

Sony PSP 'headphone with remote control' problem

2 things you can try. first is to use another headphone to see if the problem still happens. If it does then either the Jack is bad or the Jack needs to be resoldered. Sony is famous for having cold solder connections especially with User type controls or plugs.

No headphone jack

The USB HeadPhone Jack should work the same way as regular headphone jack. I have it on my Motorola phone and it works great even better.

But I have never seen the actual G1 phone so I am not sure about this.

Let me know when you get it!

TV has no sound

Just a thought...does the set have a headphone jack? When you plug in most headphone jacks it disables the internal speakers. If it does have a headphone jack trying plugging in some headphones to see if you have sound there. If you do, plug/unplug it a few times...worth a shot.
