Hello Tom,

You may have to adjust the EQ7 Preset to XPLOD and then listen to the jam. Here are the instructions from the bt3100u manual:

Selecting the sound quality
- EQ7 Preset
You can select an equalizer curve from 7 equalizer curves ("XPLOD," "VOCAL," "EDGE," "CRUISE," "SPACE," "GRAVITY," "CUSTOM" or "OFF").
1 During reception/playback, press the select button.
2 Rotate the control dial until "EQ7 PRESET" appears, then press it.
3 Rotate the control dial until the desired equalizer curve appears, then press it.
4 Press (BACK).
The display returns to normal reception/play mode. To cancel the equalizer curve, repeat the first 2 steps then select "OFF" in step 3.
Tip
The equalizer curve setting can be memorized for each source.

I got Sony Xplod XM-ZR704 700W 4/3/2-Channel Car Stereo Amplifier and 12" sub. it play good for continuous 2 hours but after that starts tripping and goes on off. i checked all wires and connections.

Amp is probably over heating. Make sure the ohm load of speaker is good for that amp. This amp is not really built to handle a bridged 2 ohm load. Make sure ground wire is clean and tight to the body chassis.

I bought the Sony Xplod mex-bt2800 at Best Buy. It was the display model, didn't come with a manual or a remote. I found the manual online to try to reset the clock to the appropriate time and the...

How about you take it back to best buy...even if you lost the receipt they should still exchange it
