usually when the bottomof the freezer is cold and the top isn't it's the evap fan motor isn't working and all the cold air sits at the bottom.when you open the freezer door you should hear the fan running inside the freezer,also tried to look up your model but it didn't come up.open the fridge door,look up on the right and hear the cieling and you'll see a tag with the model and serial numbers,i just need the model number and i can help you better

I'm going to say it's a bad bearing in the fan. It shuts off when the door is opened so as to waste as little coldness as possible.

Remove the cover to the fan, then remove the plug from the back of the fan. Connect a voltmeter to the 2 leads. Close the door switch and turn the fresh food thermostat to the coldest setting. This will call for cold and the fan should have 120 volts. If there is power to the motor replace the fan. No power check the thermostat. The doors not being shut can make it freeze up,Just thaw again and make sure the doors get shut each time and see what happens,just post back details if it doesn't work after thawing

make sure there is no frost buildup behinde the freezer back panal and the ducts to the frig are clear. Leaving the door open will make a lot of frost and diminish the cooling capacity.

your inside fan has stopped working.  Could be stuck or frozen or simply bad.

first of all, check to make sure your fan is working, also check the inside compartment for the damper should be open when your rise or lower the temperature settings on your dial. when you rise your temperature dial to 5 you should feel air flow coming out of the damper, if not check to make sure that the evaporator fan is working first, if it is than check the damper door should be open sometime this damper door gets stuck on something or they break off.

i would check the door closure, uderthe refrig door , sort of a "cam" style washer the wants to have the door close.. part number 67003638. $5 for the part

sounds like a bad defrost thermostat, , unit not "self defrosting"

you have ice build up on the evaporator. two ways to cure. first switch off for 24 hours and leave with doors open. second switch off. remove back panel inside freezer and melt ice off with a hair dryer
