I am using a tec b572 in Win7, it prints fine except after the first label the print creeps up the label, so they aren't centered

As a metter of fact, yes there is a cell detecting the gap.
You must turn the Green knob so that the detecting cell is on the notch. You must program the height of the label and in the driver you must give the size of the notch in the Support Tab.
D'ont forget to alse specify if it's direct or thermal transfer.

To stop auto calibration in toshiba color mfd

Better not to turn off the calibration, otherwise it will cause other errors.

If your colour printing is less than 5% ration, perform following. Turn the code 08-2692 "Prevention of color toner low density / ON/OFF setting" to ON, and then set number of sheets to be judged at the code 08-2693 "Prevention of color toner low density / Judged
number of sheets setting".
08-2693 u can put higher value such as 20 or above to delay the colour calibration.

I cannot calibrate brightness

Plugged in or on battery power? If you need to Increase brightness, open Power Options in control panel. It would be helpful if you posted the Toshiba Model and the OS you are using. Without knowing the OS I will provide a Win 7 solution: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/how-do-i-make-the-display-on-my-laptop-brighter Depending on your Graphics Adapter, you can override the OS Graphics settings.

Toshiba 3511 color print problems

Hi,

Hope it's not the calibration. This could happen due to transfer belt timing problem. There are sensors and reflectors inside the transfer belt assembly. They may be dirty. Clean them or replace the transfer belt if required.
