SOURCE: Blaupunkkt 5 disc changer

to take it out, you need two special toolsto insert in the four small holes on the sides. Since you probably don't have them, you can use four allen wrenches of the appropiate size. Just insert them and they will unlock the unit. (you might need something else to help you pull the unit very gently from one of the slots).

To reset the unit, I am not sure what do you meen by that. Just remember the unit has to be set up to work in the car's setup with the dealers interface module.

I have a JVC CH-X1100 CD changer in my truck. The sound is only coming out clearly on the driver side speakers....the passenger side speakers sound very low and distorted.

It is only a loose or broken wire to the left speakers. Try at the speaker itself first, and then at the radio. If both of these connections are tight, then check back along the wiring and check that the wiring TO THE RADIO LEFT SPEAKER is OK. If OK, you may have a break in the wire from the radio to the speaker.. It could even be an internal break that is hard to see. The easiest way would be to replace that wire.

Cd changer connections

Hi, On your Audiovox ACC56 10-Disc CD Changer with a Prestige P-165/P-185 FM Modulator, the wires: black - goes to the body (-) ground (as you correctly posted); Green/white - (with a small filter box) goes to the constant/always on 12V supply such as the + terminal of your battery Orange/White - should be connected to a switched power source such as the accessory terminal of your ignition switch or to the blue or yellow wire of your head unit or car stereo or whatever wire that will have 12V+ only when the head unit or car stereo is switched on. Hope this be of some help to you. Post back how things turned up or should you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.
