It will turn on for a short amount of time but then it turns back off...while it is on there is a green light that blinks unlike the other green lights inside, that stay on. the one that blinks and makes a ticking sound on the inside of the tv, is the one that has D940, and D967 beside it

The "green light flashing to the chirping" circuit may be defective. Not a basic diagnosis--service literature and/or knowledge of each green light circuit will be needed.Possible shop repair.

Refer to owners manual will tell you what blinking light means. But at the front not at the back.

It is the lamp, you have to change the lamp, it's in the left side of the tv, have a litter compartiment, opened and take out two screw and take out the change and change it. you have to buy a new one. go to google.com and put the model of the tv and find the price of the lamp.
