Have a look at the capacitor, this is part of the starting circuit for the electric motor.
It is a cylindrical shape and usually splits or bulges.
Post again if you need further assistance.
Sorry I Haven't got back to you, it seems fixya.com charged you and the experts don't get anything.
The capacitor should be mounted on the wash motor, this could be the problem or it could be a suppressor which is normally where the main power cable plugs into at the back of the machine.
If you find the suppressor, just look at it and you will see if it the problem as they have black carbon burnt like marks or they just blow out.
Thanks.

ajs_biz: Thank you for the solution. Where do I find this capacitor as I see nothing as described? Is it on/at/near the motoer or in a housing of black & white plastic located at the back bottom-right of the washer? Thank you.
AGAIN I will ask a follow-up question: I have paid for the service, written to ask for help and yet I have received no reply!!- WHERE!! do I look for the capaictor??? I have two options: near the motor OR in a seperate housing unit. Please, somebody, respond to the service for which I have paid and answer the question or return my money.
THANK YOU!!! so much for answering my question. AS per instructions I removed the motor to search for capacitor- nothing there that remotely looks as a cap.
Supressor looks O.K. Checked sup. output amps: what should that read if working properly? If sup. not damaged what is next move? Also, can machine tell me using codes what is broken? How is that process done. Thank you.
