My rado original automatic dive watch that I purchased 60 days ago has been keeping time inaccurate. In other words, it's keeping track of time too fast. When setting both my omega and rado at the same time, my rado ends up becoming 5 mins faster within 24 hrs the next day. Sent it to a servicing center. Any one else have this problem?

The numbered bezel can be used by divers to measure elapsed time on their oxygen supply. Place the zero where the minute hand is now and you'll know when 20 or 30 minutes have passed when the minute hand reaches bezel number 20 or 30.
In the same way, you can use the bezel to tell when 30 minutes have passed on your parking meter if you simply put the 0 on the minute hand when you leave the car. When the minute hand reaches the 30 mark, a half hour will have passed.
Typically, the bezel only turns counterclockwise to keep the wearer from bumping and changing the elapsed time number. On some less expensive watches, the numbered bezel does not turn and is decorative only.

When you first receive your automatic watch, you must give the watch an initial pre-wind. If you wear it everyday, it will continue to wind itself on your wrist when you move around and walk. If you stop wearing it for more than approximately 2 days, the watch will need to be reset, but will then automatically wind itself once you start wearing it again. The disadvantage to this is pretty clear. Your watch does not t keep time if you do not wear it constantly. The advantages are that you will never have to replace a battery, the watch keeps great time when it is running, and most of all, this type of movement is exactly what the originals use! If your Automatic is losing or gaining time in a 24-hour period the watch needs to be adjusted. All of our automatics have an adjustment screw on the movement just like the originals. Any local jeweler can service these watches.

normally automatic watch need to wear at least 8hrs in a day ,then it works for next 30hrs.if it stops or loosing time, it indicates that needs service with lubrication .
The only way and expert in any make of watch can detect a fake is to handle it (and probably remove the back).
This being the case, you can find your nearest stockist by going to the Rado web site (Rado.com) and you will find a menu at the bottom of the screen, click on "store locator" and enter your details.
The shaking is not the best way to restart the automatic watch as it puts slight strain on watch balance wheel and hairspring (most delicate part in watch). As watch balance wheel is positioned paralel(leveled) to watch dial, you have to spin your watch back and forth a few times quite quickly. (Imagine you are turning steering wheel in your car- thats the right motion). Before doing that wind up your watch a few times manually. Right after doing that observe the seconds hand and if it is ticking just a little bit or ticking back and forth and then stops- your watch has jammed gear train and this is the reason why it stops. If you don't have seconds hand- after shaking your watch listen for ticking and again- if it stops after short run, the gear train is to blame. In this case you will need watchmakers help as special skills and tools are needed to sort this out. Do not forget to rate, please.
