I have a Philips flat screen which is supplied with remote control RC4302.
Some keys are a bit sticky, I guess some coke or something must have slipped through. The aim is to open it up and clean it out. I managed to remove two screws at the back behind the battery cover, but that's it.
I can't find a way to remove both the front panel and back panel from each other. Would you guys have any experience with this?

I had same issue - took it apart on the off chance it may be dirty inside. Low and behold sticky substance - my guess juice (or beer!) on pcb sensors - gave it a quick clean and drying out, good as new.
I have not finished solving but I believe that I am pointed in the right direction. This in paticular always wanting to ramdomly return to the menu screen without any prompts. Sopposedly by updateing the firmware/software should take care of it? I hope it does....well anyway wish me good luck.......Thanks guys
Sounds like you need to get a Green Setup remote but if you are using this privately you will not be able to obtain one to program the tv. They are only available to hotels since the tv's are for commercial use.
