My Jensen 3280 was installed by Thor in my motorhome....the volume was never as loud as needed, but has faded to barely audible even with volume control maxed out...

The audio out (L and R) are connected to the home theatre system of speakers, too..but it is not loud enough to barely hear, but the same system on DVD will blast out sound.

Testimonial: "I can change Bass and Treble, change balance, turn the speakers off and back on, but nothing in the audio menu addresses the problem."

SOURCE: volume control doesn't work on the enternal speaker

On some sets that have audio output jacks, the level of the audio output on the RCA jacks is fixed, and it does not change with the TV's volume control. On some sets, such as Sony, you can choose fixed or variable output. I have also seen some sets that have both fixed and variable RCA jacks on the back. With variable audio out, the audio level at the audio output jacks follows the TV's volume control. If you go into the TV's menu and navigate to the audio page, look for fixed or variable output options. If you have the owner's manual, read the section on audio output. If variable output is not an option on your model, then the level is constant and the volume will have to be adjusted with the stereo's volume control.

SOURCE: i cant hear the tv

Hello drive2darim,

OK first check you converter box, Cable TV/ Satellite TV volume control and turn it up to 100%.

Then check the menu on your TV for audio settings and set them to there default settings. This should take care of this issue.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,
