If it is a steady blink then it will be something with the microprocessor not resetting. That set does give fault codes by blinking in a pattern, like two blinks then a pause then three blinks.
It can be a little tricky to troubleshoot, I think that set has a micro, two eproms and another IC that they called a watchdog which has a lot to do with the micro and preventing it from locking up. It may also be a power supply problem not supplying proper power to the micro. I'd try a few more unplugs and maybe plug direct to outlet and bypass surge protector. If it won't reset you'll need someone familiar with that set to service it for you.

Wd-62725 mitsubushi

Set if unplugged and plugged back will have the power light blink for about 70 seconds and then go out---then set can be powered up.

This is the set "booting up" and if green led fails to stop blinking a serious problem which is common in these is present.

Google the model number in this case with blinking green light, sometimes referred to as the "blinking light of death" in these sets

The power wet off and now the timer green light is flashing and it wont turn on model # ws 55511

Thats caused by the 7 capacitors on the DM power board. They discharge when the power is lost and then cannot recharge when power is restored and the indicator light will blink non stop indicating the DM has not completed the boot sequence. Replace the DM caps. The WS48511 - WS65511 DM repair kit is the correct repair kit for your model. You can get the repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com

Blinking light on the mitsubishi projection tv & not turning on

A non stop blinking light is indicatring a problem with the Boot sequence. I will need the model number of your set as some models have known issues with bad DM capacitors that cause that symptom.

Model WS55819: Shut off by itself. Power ON with remote, Green light next to power button on TV flashes twice fir 10 cycles and shuts off. Unplugged TV for 30 minutes and for 4+ hours. Same results.

The Error Code designations indicating a malfunction, or no malfunction, are listed below:

"12" ... indicates no error has occurred.

"21" ... X-Ray Protect circuit.

"22" ... Short Protect circuit.

"23" ... Horizontal Deflection failure.
"24" ... Vertical Deflection failure.

you will have to count the blinks, then there is a short pause and then following a second set of blinks this tells what is wrong with set.

Power went out, now the tv just blinks at me. I

Does the blinking continue non-stop forever? If it does, it is most likely the CAPS in the DM module. If you can solder or know someone who can, this is a fairly simple repair. Some sets have 4 CAPS, yours (WS-65711) should have 7 in the DM module that will need replacment. There are many step by step sets of instructions on how to do this repair. Google mits blinking green light of death. You will find loads of information and help.
