I have a Mitsubishi 65" Medallion Projection TV, WS-65819. When I hook up my WII or XBox 360 or even a DVD player, I hear sound, I see the picture, but it seems as though it's scrambled. I use ATT Uverse and that works fine, just can't get the picture for my game systems to work. Both game systems use the 3 plug (Red, White, Yellow) connectors. I have tried all inputs in the back of the TV, but still not working.

yes......you can rplace the convergence ic's on convergence module......these are the big stk type ic's and also the low ohm resistors. These are 3.9 to 6.8 ohm half watt on the yoke return circuit. Let me know how you fare......regards. meder's tv
COMP 1 and 2 are for 480i/p sources. Hook it to the 1080i capable on the back. Also make sure the HD DVR is outputting 1080i not 720p. The Mits can not disply 720p and will show a scrambled screen if you try to.
The TV supports 1080i so if your hardware is plugged into the Component Cable Connection for Digital TV on the back the signal will come out 1080i as long as the hardware supports the size.
For example, my 360 is connected like this and when the dvd player is in use it upscales from the 480 format dvds use to 1080. More on the HD-DVD for the 360 and how it handles the sizes here: http://www.engadgethd.com/2006/09/21/xbox-360-hd-dvd-playback-maximum-1080i-via-component-1080p-vga/
Kind of an old article since the newer 360s have hdmi and support 1080p that route.
