Installed new brother mfc-j4410dw printer and tried to print recipe from food network and printout included header printing over recipe text and large right margin where ads appear in web browser
Redownloaded brother printer driver for this model for 64 bit Win 7 and only a little better result in that font size wasnt huge
Went to printer properties and turned off all header and footer settings (set to blank) and still have margin issue and overprint at top of pages
Before i installed new driver i uninstalled old driver
And yes for sure my OS is 64 bit

Hi,Check to see in the connectioncables are all plugged in correctly.Open the printer and see if drumunit and toner cartridges are installed correctly. Sometimes not well installedconsumables are the cause of that particular problem.See if the print driver on yourcomputer is correctly installed. Try and reinstall the driver.Check if your printer is working in onlinemode. Sometimes printer changes online to offline method. If printer is atoffline mode click Start button on your computer, enter Control Panel. Click onHardware and Sound and choose Printers. Right click on Brother MFC-9840CWD andmake sure that the Use Printer offline is not checked.Hope this helps.
refil teh ink, and open it up.. make sure you print 1 paper and see that it feeds properly. if it has a problem somewhere take actions to fix it... duct tape usually helps :P
It isn't a network printer since it only has a USB interface (no LAN port) http://www.brother-usa.com/VirData/Content/MFC/ModelBrochures/Brochure_MFC240C.pdf
but you may purchase a print server if you want to share the printing function on your network (only the printing function can be shared). But some multifunction printers do not work with print servers due to driver issues. There are some users on the net who were able to make this work with an IOGEAR multifunction print server.
There is one Brother multifunction network printer that you may want to check: http://www.amazon.com/Brother-MFC-7840W-Multifunction-Wireless-Interfaces/dp/B0016ZQ566/ref=dp_cp_ob_e_title_1
