SOURCE: Water is slowly trickling out of water dispenser

This is usually because the water filter on the supply line needs replacing.
If it has not been replaced within 6 months, then this will probably cure it.

Make sure your ic maker is empty. On the bottom of the ice maker is a small button. Watch the plastic fill tube and hold the botton in. Let the ice maker cycle anmd see if the water over shhoots rne ice maker. If it does, trim 1/8 of an inch off of the tube with a raxor knife on an angle = / this should take care of your problem.

The water from my LG French door refrigerator tasted fine.....until i replaced the filter. I have the refrigerator more than 6 montgs with no issues. Flushed the lines but nit helping. Please help.

Hello, did you put the filter on in the right direction? Check the arrow on the filter. It probably will clear up and soon or get a new filter, take the old one back for a new one.

I put a new filter in my Sansung Refrigerator and the water taste worse than the old one, why?

I agree with Gramps... the system needs to be flushed, but one question... why did you change the filter in the 1st place... was it cause you had a smell or taste in the water AND ice, or the filter light came on?? I would remove water line going to ref from house plumbing... run water in bucket for 2 min, then take a small taste to see if good..If water taste good, then hook water line back up to ref, and run water at the door for about 1/2 gal, then taste and smell water to see if it passes... If still have problem, you are going to have to replace filter head and/or water reservoir.... But before i did that i would contact Samsung to get their take, depending on age they might send parts at no charge to you the consumer....... Ken Hawk

Ice maker is makeing bad tasting ice water supply is good no bad taste in water , can it be cleaned

Change the supply line to the plastic tube line or copper. Do not use a braided plastic or metal braided line these will make the water taste bad. Changed mine to the plastic line and cured mine, no filters needed.

I sure hope you are using an in-line filter for starters, then if the ice still tastes bad, check the source line.

Bad tasting /smelling water

This happens each time you get water or only when you've recently changed the filter?  Do you live in an area with hard water/well water?  I would try cleaning the water line out with warm water and vinegar to see if this helps.
When is the last time the filter was changed?
