Trying to print business cards duplexed. Paper is light card stock, not really very thick but I use "thick paper" setting in the properties dialog box. From manual tray it goes through printing 1 side then always jams in the back & I have to open the back door and remove it half done. I've used the levers in the back in both up and down positions and makes no difference.
Hello,
Some card stocks can give customer headaches. Although you are using light card stock I would try to set the printer properties at Thick one or Thick 2.
I would try manually inserting the paper for the back side. Most of the time it's best to wait a few minutes before trying the back side to give it time to cool so it will lie flat.

Your pickup tires on the printer may be worn, how many prints have you made on this printer. it may be time for a maint. kit.

I just returned my HL-5370DW printer to Staples. I only had it for 3 days and found it running hot, warping card stock and envelopes, and jamming regular size paper constantly. It appears to be OK for very small print jobs but not very robust. I did like the duplex printing and the price. I do not believe there is a solution other than replacing this printer.

1.Determine where the paper is jammed in the ADF on your Brother printer-- in the top or bottom of the unit.
2.Access the paper. If the paper is jammed in the top, open and flip down the cover on the left side of the ADF. If the paper is jammed in the lower part of the unit, lift up the document cover.
3.Grasp the paper on both sides and carefully pull it toward the right side of the machine and away from the feeder -- up slightly and right if working from the top; down and right if working from the bottom. If the paper rips and the remaining piece or pieces are too small for you to grasp with your fingers, access them from the opposite side or remove them with tweezers.
4.Return the ADF or document cover to its original position once you've removed all of the paper.
5.Push the "Stop/Exit" button to reset the printer to remove the error message from the display so you can start printing again.
