Check Mega fuse at underhood fuse box. It is located in front of fuse box and is a large 125A fuse.

How many times this standby/power light blinks at one time switch ON? Count it carefully. These blinks are fault indication, and known as blinking codes. 5 blinks means there is a problem with the video board. It could be as simple as unplugging everything, includding power. Wait 3 minutes then plug power only back in. Or it may be a damaged component that requires replacing.

What do three blinks of the power light mean on my Sharp Aquos LC-C5262U? I cannot power up my display.

Having similar issue with my PT-44LCX65. Lamp blew and replaced it (last month), never figured out how to reset timer. Now red indicator light blinks once every 5 seconds and after about 4 minutes TV goes black.... Any ideas?
