The green light flashing is a fault code, usually for a no, or long fill situation, GE has nixed this electronic ice maker and returned to one that looks similar but is non electronic, while your ice maker is probably at fault you may actually have a separate issue causing the ice maker to display a fault code, such as a spent water filter, or low water pressure, or even a bad water valve on the fridge it's self. The water solenoid valve should have 120v going to it. (You will need a multimeter to chk this). You will need to also chk. for proper ground when verifying the 120v. If you get 120v on each of the pin clips, then your plug is not properly grounded, which means that you need a new ice maker circuit board. This is located in the in dispenser (front panel opens).

This sounds like the float mechanism has gone bad. Remove it and have a look. It may be the float or the switch on it that is bad. There is also a solenoid valve. Parts kits are available. Shut off the water first!

Your model uses a electronic ice maker. If the tray has srinking cubes and if you fill to top with tap water, let freeze and if it does not drop the ice the problem most ikely is the icemaker mode=> WR30X10093 The ice maker has a thermistor or thermostat built in and communicates with the circuit board inside to tell when it is time to cycle. You can try the water test and let me know but this is a typical failure with that type of ice maker. If this solve you ice maker problem please rate me.
