FIRST YOUR OUTSIDE UNIT PROVIDES HEAT BY USING A REVERSING VALVE TO CHANGE THE REFRIGERANT FLOW.THERE IS NO HEAT STRIPS OUTSIDE SECOND YOUR EMERGENCY HEAT TURNS ON ELECTRIC ELEMENTS INSIDE YOUR AIRHANDLER UNIT.IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE HAS WIRED YOUR UNIT WRONG OR HAS THE THERMOSTAT SET IMPROPERLY.WHEN THE HEAT PUMP CANNOT SATTISFY THE SETPOINT THE THERMOSTAT IS SUPPOSED TO TURN ON YOUR ELEC. HEAT UNTILL THE LOAD HAS BEEN REACHED AND THE HEAT PUMP CAN CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN IT.

SOURCE: heating & AC thermostat problem

It could be running in a "programmed mode" if it has the capabilities. You could exit from the programmed mode

SOURCE: When Heater is turned on display shows 125, doesn't ignite/fire.

I am not sure if you have solved this issue, or not, but here is one idea. When you turn on the heater, it is reading the temp at 125/126 correct? IF this is what the heater is reading, then the problem is the Thermistor,or temp sensor, and is very easy to replace.

If you have an Owner's Manual, there are part numbers and instructions on how to replace the Thermistor. If you do not have one, follow the link below and it will take you to one online:

2005 300c 5.7l stalls wile driving, then restarts itself

sounds a LOT like a fuel pump (the elector-magnetic switch that turns it on and off. it's not a resistor but i can't think of the name of it ).. it's in the fuse box under the hood. .. when those go bad you get intermittent issues of stall and re-start until it stalls the last time.. ive also had a fuel pump go out that way but it's not common

We have refiled our lay z sap, after it dispaly shows 3 dashes

You probally just need to break an air lock in the pipes. You can ether force water down the skimmer pipe or find your drain valve and open it for a minute or two till it runs just water and no air. This will get water to the pump and the heater. This should fix you up.

Heat will not turn off.Removed thermostat wile

Hello
Could be a stuck control relay,Tsat completes a circut for this relay to engage, once relay contacts are closed heater will start.and stay on until you reach temp.

once temp is reached relay will open and heat will shut down.

By disconnecting all power to heater your forceing relay to open.or simulating a satisfied temp.

I would have a service tech look at your control relay and t stat.

Goodman electric heater won't initialize final turn on. The coils are hot, I see elements heat up around the fan but then there's a click that stops everything from going further. ???

The limit switch is cutting evrything off. See if you can turn the fan on manually at the t-stat, if so the fan control switch is bad.and needs replacing. if not the fan itself could be bad.
