Question about Garden
I have a cub cadet rzt zero turn lawn mower that every time I go to turn the ignition on it automatically blows the fuse what or why is causing it to blow the fuse?
Someplace, somewhere... the insulation on a wire is rubbed away and the wire is touching ground. It will NOT be easy to track down.
I've known some people to track that sort of problem down by bypassing the fuse and just seeing which wire catches fire. I don't advise that, since it may be inside a wire loom and catch a LOT of wires on fire, and you may end up with the whole mower catching fire.
Time to either get really familiar with a multimeter or find someone who's good with electrical stuff to dig through your mower.

Wire harness for the PTO on the RZT's is designed dangerously near the drive pulley. After time, the harness drops and comes in contact with the pulley which grinds through the coating and shorts out the circuit. Repair (tape up) the wiring, relocate the the wire to the opposite side of the crank pulley (may have to zip-tie in place) - shouldn't be a problem anymore.
