Progamming code for DYNEX t.v. w/ brighthouse cable remote

Need programing code for a brighthouse remote control to a 37 inch DYNEX flat screen t.v.

Do what I did...
Turn on TV
Press TV on the remote(will blink once)
Press and hold setup until tv button blinks twice
Hit 991 tv key will blink twice
Aim remote at tv press power button once
Press the Chan + key over and over until tv shuts off.
Same instructions as the manual

For my Brighthouse DVR box the code 096 was successful. I believe the Emerson codes are compatible with Dynex television.

I have a Dynex flat screen tv. When I program the AT&T U-Verse standard remote to control it the power button works but the volume control doesn't. The volume control on the side of the TV works.

We can't program the tv with the brighthouse cable
Hi,
This is a brighthouse problem not a TV problem, if brighthouse won't help you just use the original or substitue remote.
The brighthouse remote may locate the correct frequency using the scan method ask them to send a remote book.
