Front buttons on TV no longer work or thr remote control

After removing the front part of the tv where the color strobes project too, a problem occurred. The buttons on the front of the TV that control volume, power, etc. no longer work. However you can turn the TV on or off by unplugging it. Also the tv does not respond to the remote control anymore as well. Basically to still use this tv you plug it in and a picture appears from the cable box. I reconnected the 2 connections that separate the tv from the projection part. What might be wrong? Fuse maybe?

Thank you for any help.

Tv has worked for ever with the remote now remote has failed and the on off swutch doesnt work to turn it on and off How can I program another remote if I can turn it on?

First, check to make sure the front keyboard is not locked out. Press and hold the menu key for 10 seconds then release. If it was locked out, then front panel buttons should work. If no change, you likely have a problem with one of the ten contact switches on that panel. Remove the front speaker grill by pulling it off, then trace the wires from the front control panel (you may need to remove the cover off the front of TV). Unplug the wires to the front panel and try by Remote control. If the remote works, you can purchase ten tact switches and install or just leave the wires unplugged and use it like that.

My Mitsubishi projection TV will not produce audio or video

Hi,
Two things are involved to cause that problem, tv remote control and remote sensor in tv.
Upon verification of remote working, it would be confirm that remote sensor in tv is defective and need to be replaced.
Remote control sends infra red light signal to tv and we can not see that light with naked-eye, so need digital camera or cell phone camera to see it by watching remote front through camera, press any keys on remote, if you see infra red light is blinking in remote front that means remote is working and remote sensor in tv will be replaced.
If no light blinking on pressing remote buttons confirm that this remote is defective and buy new remote.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

Big Blur when i turn the tv on

Hi!

First of all please check the following things:

Press the TV button. Make sure the TV is plugged in. Check the wall receptacle (or extension cord) to make sure it is “live” by plugging in something else. Something might be wrong with your remote control. Press the POWER button on the front of the TV. If the TV turns on, check the remote control solutions. The front panel controls may be locked (disabled). Use the remote control to unlock the front panel controls by selecting the Front Panel Block in the Parental Control menu and press OK to uncheck the box. The TV might be performing a periodic diagnostic check. Wait for a few minutes for the TV to turn on.

If still the problem persists then check the following:

Maybe the cable/air function is set to the wrong position. The channel might be blank — change channels. If you’re watching your VCR and it’s connected with coaxial cable to the CABLE/ANTENNA jack, tune the TV to channel 3 or 4 (whichever channel is selected on the 3/4 switch on the back of your VCR). Also check to make sure the TV/VCR button on the VCR is in the correct mode (press the TV/VCR button on your VCR). Check antenna connections. Make sure all of the cables are firmly connected to the jacks. Try adjusting sharpness function to improve weak signals. Closed-captioning might be on. Check Closed Caption in the Setup menu.

Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.

You will need to get to the control board and see if any of the front panel buttons are sticking. if they are not, you will have a bad switch or the remote sensor is defective. If you have no TV repair experience. you will need to consult a pro to assist you with this repair. Good Luck
