It sounds to me like the rubber o-rings are getting old. Try posting your concerns on the Peerless Customer Support webpage. They can help you identify the model of your faucet and what repair kit to purchase. (Repair is fairly easy, the faucet is repaired in-place).

How do I disconnect the pull down hose?

if you were able to snap the water lines from shutoffs onto the faucet with a click, look for a small wire clip inserted into the lower/outer half of the joint. TURN OFF THE WATER, then remove the wire clip carefully and the water supply lines should come back apart. the little wire clip goes back into the slot for safekeeping till next time .

I have a single handle shower faucet, turn all the way and you get only hot water.... It has been dripping over the last few weeks when off, hot water. now it's a steady flow. How do I adjust...

hi there:) your problem is caused by the cartridge inside the valve body. could be one of 3 things...1)the cartridge is damaged 2)hard water build up 3)foreign matter. it is not to difficult to replace it yourself: first turn off the water then find the set screw, which holds the handle in place, usually located at the base of the handle and remove it. (look closely/carefully cause it's hiding) then remove the escutcheon ring and the trim sleeve to expose the "bonnet" (lock ring) and remove it. (ritey titey lefty loosey) now you can remove the cartridge and inspect it for debris/damage. if you need a new one just take it w/you to any plumbing supply including home depot and/or lowes and they will help you find it. here is the installation/owners manual from peerless: http://peerless-faucet.com/customer-support/find-repair-parts/documentation/P8760.html hope this helps but if you need anything else just ask:)

The handle on my shower faucet is stripped, the hex screw wore a ridge around the stem. Do I have to replace the whole unit?

If you have enough of a stem left, just file a flat spot on the stem where you want the set screw to stay. You might have to buy a longer set screw though. Take the old one with you and try to find a stainless one - any hardware or home-improvement store will carry them.

I have a brand new faucet not getting any water pressure? Water Pressure was fine before putting new faucet in. How do i troubleshoot this problem and get my bathroom sink running properly again?

It is very common when you first install any faucet, for the aerator on the very end of the faucet (where the water comes out into the sink) to plug up with rust or sediment. Because you had to turn off water supply, it churns up this sediment in pipes. It initially plugs up the filter/screen in aerator. Just unscrew the end & flush it out with water. Then reattach.
