Give this a try....go to Sportsmith.net and/or google Service Menu Life Fitness 95Ti. Once in the service menu, there should be an entry for the user to select Miles or Km.
It mentions pressing/holding the Pause Button until the Service menu appears on the display. Good Luck!
I would suggest removing your heart rate grips and inspecting the contact leads for rust or any other corrosion. This is very commonly an issue and can be resolved by either cleaning the contacts or simply replacing the parts. Using the following link, and your serial number, you should be able to find the contact grips if you end up needing them.

If the walking belt has shifted to the left, use the Allen wrench to turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 of a turn; if the walking belt has shifted to the right, turn the left rear roller bolt counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn. Be careful not to overtighten the walking belt. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking
belt is centred.
