When I tryto print 5x7 prints from windows fax viewer my photosmart all in one model C4480 is printing the first 5x7 fine but the second 5x7 also has a small wallet size printed ontop of it

There are 2 ways of solving your problem.
1 If your mini laptop has a CD player, then load the CD which came with the printer on your laptop. Then click on the printer& faxes in the start menu. On the page displayed check for icon of your printer. Click on the icon and make it your default printer. Now you can start printing the documents.

2 You can go to web site of HP. Click on support. Go to drivers. From the list check the driver for your model and down load it. Once download is complete install it. Check for the icon in the printers & faxes page in the control panel. Make it your default printer. You can now print the documents.

Are you using windows vista? If you are, here's what to do. Open the picture using windows picture viewer (right click the pic., click "open with" then click "Windows picture viewer" when the window opens, on the right, click "full page photo" (the top one) then click 2options" then "printer properties" Under "paper size" click " 5"X7" Borderless or 126X178 Borderless. Click "OK" then click "Print"
Et voila!

Hello Friend,

First of all please check for correct drivers for printer.

Secondally : Please draw three different - different color boxes in word and print them on you printer and find out which one color is missing. Example as follows.

start - print and fax - right click on HP Photosmart C4480 - properties - port (change to USB)..

if you dont hvae 5x7 option you can creat your won setting open printer adn faxes ...>goto file ..>server properties there you can creat it......

You need to find the scan option on the printer and modify it.

Try reinstalling (remove icon in Printers and Faxes and reboot system).

:on computer go to control panel-printer and faxes-ur printer sereis-right click there-scroll down to properties-click on properties-under general tab uw will find print atest page ..there u can find out the ink levels

OK, Whe you select Print from the File Menu and the Print window opens, selct the Color tab.

There should be an option to Print in Grayscale. Check the box beside it and click OK at the bottom. Then back at the Print window, click Print.

(Note: If this option is not on the Color tab, or you do not have a color tab, look on the Advanced tab for the same thing.)
