My rumor 2 wont vibrate when i get a text message, i have went though every sound setting i can find an turned everything to vibrate but it still wont work, any ideas?

Mine does work after all. You can't make it vibrate but it will make a sound every five minutes after a missed call/text. The only problem is that the audible sound isn't very loud and I see no way of increasing the volume for it. I just assumed it didn't work because apparently it was too low for me to hear at the time. BUT IT'S BETTER THAN NOTHING!!! I'm just glad it works. Make sure your message reminder is set to "ON". Go to --->TOOLS & SETTINGS>SETTINGS>MESSAGING>MESSAGE SOUNDS>MESSAGE REMINDER> CHOOSE ON OR OFF. To test it.. Send a text to your phone but don't acknowledge or touch any buttons. Wait 5 minutes and your phone should make an alert noise. Keep the phone near you the whole time so you don't miss it. It will continue to alert you every 5 minutes until you acknowledge it.

Hey well you probably have it sorted by now!!

But to anyone else who needs help.. with my LG phone i went into my inbox.. Settings.. Move to My Folder..select all.. Move. so then it moves them to the other folder. Simple! Then all you do is the same thing but move them back to your inbox... and VOILA no more invisible 'Unread messages' :D

when you have over 200 messages it wont send vibrate or ring. so you have to delete you messges

jst go in ur profile check wether u want to enable vibrate option then disable it ,option such as ringtone ,msg tone,vibrate.....

Best way I have found is to use explorer and browse into your mobile device and search for a folder called "volatile". I copied every wierd looking folder that started with XME or such. There were like 999 of them on my phone. Once they were removed, everything went back to normal!

GO 2 SETTINGS GOT TO SOUND AND GO 2 RINGER TYPE AND GO 2 MESSAGIN AND U CAN SEE FROM THERE

Sure! Follow these steps.
1) from the HOME screen push MENU

2) push the RIGHT SOFTKEY two times to bring you to the "Settings & Tools" menu.

3)push 4 for "Sound Settings"

4)push 2 for "Alert Sounds"

5) push 1 for "TXT Message"

6) push 2 for "Vibrate"

7) Choose "ON" and push "OK"

8) "CLR" your way back to the "HOME" page
