42H81 touch focus error

I have a 5 year old 42h81 and the blue line is waving . I tried doing a touch focus and it error.  I went to the service mode and did a manual realignment but I cant even move the blue gun.  The Blue is way off from the grid.  What can I do to repair this?

    Touch focus reports " Touch focus error " ; the red lne is wavy during the touch focus process and the end result is that the red in the TV projection is " off colour" Please advise.



    No steps taken other than the Touch focus setup.

Check for bad solder connections on the connvergence ics if that dont fix it then replace them

Convergence -manual
Replace the convergence amps and test and replace any or all of the 2.2ohm resistors in the yoke return path out in front of the amps. This unit takes two STK392-110 Sanyo originals, DO NOT GET CHINESE KNOCK-OFFS... Buy them from Acme sales out of Florida and you can be assured they're originals.

I am having the same problem with my red lamp. i get an error on the touch focus and I cannot manually converge the red lamp.

go In service convergence mode and try to adjust red and green if you cant then it's convergance amp ic's
if you can adjust them so they align up try doing a touch fous after that,.

Toshiba 42H81 Rear projection "Convergence problem"
Also,check micro fuses F851,F852,etc.
and with a good digital meter, check resistors feeding B+ to
convergence circuit.
I have been using Stk392-110T made by Toshiba with no re-calls.Hitachi also has an upgrade IC.
And be sure to check your soldering of IC pins--good connect,
with no short.....T.
