display screen might have very tightly screwd up bit loosen try for all of them

The original factory settings of the AW4416 can be restored by recalling Scene Memory '00'.

1) Press the [SCENE] button in the 'AUTOMATION' section.

2) Press the [F1] button to display the 'Scene Mem' page.

3) Turn the (DATA/JOG) dial to select '00.Initial Data' on the screen.

4) Press the yellow [ENTER] button.

Do you mean,"The HOUSE power went out" or, "The keyboard power went out"?

This MAY be due to a key contact or button that is STUCK "on".

Often this will freeze the controller.

Make sure power adapter is the correct one... underpowered or incorrect ones cause trouble.

Is there possibly a write protect or lockout feature?

clavinova 83s...comes on but goes off within 20 sec.,sometimes comes on display lights up but no sound or functions?

Talk to Yamaha, could be the LCD connection or the driver board...
