Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly

Not sure where you got your part number from as it appears to cross to the 14 oz kettle assembly.
The motor PN 47038 is for the model 2121 and it is $69.75 + shipping

Go to this page: http://www.gmpopcorn.com/store/Details.cfm?ProdID=89&category=5 and enter your model number or start here: http://www.gmpopcorn.com

The Kettle Agitator gets stuck. Appears the Rotating Center is Wobbly. . .

The motor output shaft bushing might have came loose I have seen where it falls out of the motor and the shaft becomes real wobbly and it will cause excessive wear in the kettle cross bar bushing too. also make sure the cross bar and lid assy. is not come loose from the kettle.

Spinner on a Cretors popcorn popper will not work

If when you pick up the kettle to dump it you can spin the agitator in the pan with one hand easy then it is not stuck. check to make sure the motor switch is supplying voltage to the motor. If that is ok now that you have the front panel off look inside to see if the motor is turning but the drive head which comes up thru the pedistal isnt then the motor shaft pin has sheered off. if nothing is moving at all motor needs replacement. the list on those from the factory are over 600 so make sure its bad first.

It wont turn

Check motor on/off swith . If that is working then it's the motor or motor gear box (which is sold as a unit unless it is an old Star brand. They offered replacement gears for theirs.) All this is assuming you made sure the kettle agitator is not frozen up ?

Agitator has come out of popcorn machine

if you have a gold medal popper, there is a weight on the shaft the sits over the middle hump of the stir wire. you must take the lid asembly off of the kettle to get the stir wire back in.
they do not fall out without some thing else wrong, check if the shaft is broken under neath the weight.

Galaxy popper popcorn machine has a stripped gear in the agitator can I buy just the gear or can I buy gear box model # g8

You will need to buy the entire agitator motor. For a G8 that is part number y8213. You can get it at a Concessions dealer, or from Partstown.com

Pop corn spinner stop workin

That is a common problem in the Star Model 89. Replacement motors are available from restaurant parts supply houses.

They stopped making that model in 1992, so the part will be fairly expensive, in the $200-$300 range.

Stirrer motor not running

Most likely the motor will have to be replaced. This is probably a case of where buying a new popper is cheaper.

Popcorn maker

When Popper Has Popped Corn Just Before.
1. Pour the properly measure amount of Oil into the kettle.
2. Wait about 45 seconds - or until the Oil in the kettle starts to smoke slightly.
3. Pour the contents of the properly measured corn cup (kernels plus popcorn salt or Flavacol) into the kettle.
4. Wait about 2 1/2 minutes. If you are using a pan on the stove without an agitator, you must constantly shake gently. When the crackling noise of the popping corn is no longer heard, dump the kettle and empty it completely.
5. Repeat if needed for more popcorn.
6. When you are finished popping, turn off the kettle agitator switch (if you have one) and turn off the Pilot light/ heat switch.
7. After the machine has cooled enough so as not to be dangerously hot, wipe the outside of the kettle with a soft damp cloth. This helps prevent a heavy build-up of the Oil.

TIPS
- Bagged floss keeps a day or two, depending on the humidity
- Use bags to make and display cotton candy in advance - use cones for immediate sales
- Unless you're experienced, it's best to turn off the motor to refill the spinner head
- If machine will be used more than 20ft. from power source, be sure to have an adequate extension cord
