How to change battery

Timer battery
This appliance uses a button battery - L1154.
• To change the battery remove the control panel with a small flat bladed jewellers
screw driver. Prise the control panel up by inserting the screwdriver into the gap at the
top of the panel. Remove the white battery cover and replace the battery
• Insert a new battery, put the battery cover back on and clip the control panel back on.

I cannot find the reset button on my deep fryer. it is a Professional cool touch deep fryer model CZF530. It overheated when we turned it on without oil. The manual says it should have a reset button on...

It looks like the control pane can be lifted out of the unit, looks like,
it can, if the control panel lifts out after removing everything that can be taken out, the button should be somewhere on the back.

Reset buttons are usually a tiny pin hole, and you take a paper clip and stick in the hole, but this should be just a small button that you press.

I have a mdl CZF725 rival deep fryer and the lid will not stay down.

The problem is that the heating element and front control panel is not sitting in correctly. Remove the heating element/front control panel. Grab the heating element and gently pull it away from the control panel. Use care as you can break the elements off of the control panel. Reinsert and attempt to close the lid. If it does not close, then repeat this process being careful to not over bend the elements. The lid uses two plastic extensions to latch to the control panel and if the control panel is extended away from the fryer front, the lid will not latch. Also the fryer will not work as there are sensors in the control panel to sense if it is close enough to the fryer.

Change from natural gas to propane

1.You will need to change the pilot orifice and the burner orifices
2. You may need to change the gas control valve. Some gas control valves are made for natural gas and some are made for LP. They have regulators built-in, that deliver the correct pressure respectively. Natural gas is 3.5 inches of water column, LP is 10 inches of water column.
Some manufacturers sell kits to change the spring in the regulator from Nat to LP
You would need a parts breakdown on the specific model number of your fryer to find the parts you need. Hope this helps.

Cleaning

From http://www.rivalproducts.com/help.aspx?helpNav=1: How can I clean my fryer? - Unplug from outlet and allow unit to cool. Always turn control to OFF then disconnect plug from wall outlet BEFORE disconnecting BREAK-AWAY CORD. - Clean the outside of the fryer and lid with a damp cloth. CAUTION: Do not use abrasive pads or alcohol to clean the fryer. - Remove basket handle, if one is included. Frying basket can be washed in hot soapy water. - Rinse and towel dry carefully. - Pour out oil and discard properly. - Wipe the inside with paper towels to absorb excess grease. Wash interior of fryer with hot soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. CAUTION: Never immerse the fryer in water or wash in running water. If you own a fryer with a removable bowl or other removable parts, refer to the Owner?s Guide for your specific fryer to determine which parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
