Motorola H700 Volume 'Up' Orientation

Hi. I've noticed that the volume up key on my H700 is the lower button. I tried changing it to have the top button as the volume up key. I followed the user guide to change this but it doesn't work. How do I change this, please?

There is a way to change the orientation of the earpiece and volume buttons. Guest's comment was uncalled for. Suppose you are deaf in the ear that it comes set up for?

I too was going annoyed by this.

Turn the headset power off by closing
the headset boom.

Press the Call button until the
indicator light becomes steadily lit in
purple, then press the Volume button
you want to assign as the "volume up"
button MULTIPLE TIMES until the indicator light turns off.
This method worked for me and I hope it will work for others.

I tried the same thing. Switched the H700 to my left ear and can't change the "up" volume to the top button.

Where is the volume

Little buttons on side of headset. Typically the factory setting is for right ear. So volume button on top would be up volume and bottom would be lower volume.

My hands free is on mute and won't come off mute .

Hi, Motorola H700 Wireless Headset does not go on mute, it might be from the volume control of the Motorola H700 Wireless Headset or from the cell phone volume control.

You can use this quick guide to know how to increase and decrease the volume control.

How do I turn up the volume?

The volume keys are the silver keys on the top and bottom. Simply push the volume up button to adjust the volume If you are not sure which button is volume up, or simply want to change which is which, you can change the button orientation.
Here's how:

-Close the boom to turn the headset off.

-Press and hold down the desired "volume up" button and open the boom. Keep the button pressed until the indicator light flashes blue three times.

Hearing from Motorola H700

good morning!! ive been thru this before, try tapping your phone volume while your talking to your party, it shold be seen on your phone screen as earpiece volume than turn it up and when you have the volume where you want it dont forget to tap the set on your phone, another prob i had was some times there is a small protective plastic film on the ear holes on the tooth and one on the mike sometimes, i could hear my party but they couldnt hear me until i discovered that lil peice of plastic. remember your key codes are either 0000 or 1234. good luck m.m.

Problem with Motorola H700 Bluetooth

rhondarenee: If you're using a Motorola RAZR V3, the problem is the cell phone. Also check the volume buttons on H700 that sometimes it goes the volume all the way down. It is a common unnoticed situation. SithPitt
